Racing Bulls Ready to Dominate 2025 Formula 1 Season

The Racing Bulls team, a combination of Milton Keynes and Faenza, has kicked off the 2025 Formula 1 season with impressive success. With their drivers consistently delivering top-notch performance, the team’s parent organization, Red Bull, grapples with its operational challenges.

Racing Bulls Find Their “Sweet Spot

According to Racing Director Alan Permane, the team has discovered a “sweet spot” that they aim to fully exploit this weekend in Saudi Arabia. The team’s VCARB 02 model has surpassed expectations at Melbourne, Shanghai, and Suzuka races.

Permane shared with Motorsport.com and other media outlets that the car was already considered decent after Bahrain, but they didn’t anticipate it would perform as well as it did in Melbourne and especially Shanghai and Suzuka. However, they struggled at the Bahrain Grand Prix, an anomaly they are confident will not repeat in Saudi Arabia.

Red Bull Struggles with RB21

In contrast, Red Bull has faced challenges this season with their spikey RB21 car, a challenge even reigning champion Max Verstappen is finding difficult to manage. Permane explained that every car has a trade-off between peak downforce and drivability, and they’ve simply hit the sweet spot.

Despite their strong performance this season, Racing Bulls are aiming for even more. They want their car to be easier to drive and desire even more downforce, marking the next steps in their development.
