From Dream to Reality: The Making of the Iconic Scene Recreation
The idea for the recreation of the scene emerged about a year and a half ago, when Hamilton co-founded Dawn Apollo Films with his friend Timmy. “I remember saying, ‘How cool would it be if we could reshoot that scene where they’re driving the Ferrari over the hill and landing to the Star Wars music?'” Hamilton recalled.
With the help of his production company, Hamilton was able to bring this dream to life, even managing to secure the participation of acclaimed actor Edward Norton. The project required a significant investment in cutting-edge technology, production, and planning. “It definitely took a lot of effort to get right,” Hamilton admitted on social media.
Despite the challenges, the video was a labor of love for the Formula One star, who has been enjoying a creative year so far.
