Lewis Hamilton Showcases Rare MV Agusta F4 LH44 Motorcycle at Monaco Grand Prix Media Day
Seven-time Formula One champion, Lewis Hamilton, made a grand entrance to the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix media day on Thursday, riding his custom red MV Agusta F4 LH44 motorcycle. The circuit was abuzz with flashing cameras and cheers as Hamilton arrived in style.
A Collaborative Masterpiece – The Exclusive MV Agusta F4 LH44
Hamilton’s ride of choice is the exclusive limited edition LH44 motorcycle, a result of a collaboration between the driver and the brand in 2017. Only 44 units, reflecting Hamilton’s racing number, were built, making it one of the rarest motorcycles ever created.
Built on the F4 RC platform, which assimilates technology from the World Superbike Championship’s Reparto Corse Superbike, this machine boasts a four-cylinder, 998cc heart that produces an impressive 212 hp, seven more than the standard model. Weighing just 190 kg dry, it offers an immense amount of power, capable of reaching approximately 184 mph.
Hamilton’s Passion for Engineering and Design
I am very excited to continue my partnership with MV Agusta,” Hamilton said on the bike’s release. “I love working with Giovanni and the guys at MV Agusta, their passion for engineering and attention to detail produces stunning, original looking bikes.
Hamilton is deeply involved in the design process of his projects with MV Agusta, collaborating closely with the CRC design team. He expressed particular excitement about introducing his new bike, the F4 LH44, which he described as “quite stunning” and a perfect blend of road and race bike characteristics.
The machine features lashings of carbon fiber and titanium to maintain its lean weight, but it’s the bright red paint job that makes it stand out.
A Private Screening of the F1 Movie
Prior to the race week, Hamilton attended a private screening of the highly anticipated F1 movie alongside his fellow Formula 1 drivers. The film, led by Brad Pitt, sees Hamilton serving as producer, with his role primarily focusing on grounding the film in reality.
The majority of drivers, along with a number of other team personnel, gathered at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum to enjoy the production.
