Lando Norris’ New Porsche 911 GT3 RS: A Closer Look

McLaren Formula 1 driver, Lando Norris, has added another stunning vehicle to his collection – the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The 25-year-old’s latest acquisition boasts the Weissach package, featuring a roll cage, front and rear axle stabilizers, carbon-fiber reinforced plastic panels, and a weight reduction of 15kg.

Under the Hood: Power and Performance

This supercar is powered by a naturally aspirated 4-liter flat-six engine producing an impressive 518 hp, up from the standard GT3’s 502 hp. With its seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds (3.9 seconds with a manual transmission), and reach a top speed of approximately 318 mph.

Interestingly, the rear wing incorporates a Formula-1-inspired drag reduction system – a standard feature on the GT3 RS model.

Lando Norris’ 2025 F1 Season So Far

McLaren is off to a strong start in the 2025 F1 season, with Norris currently second in the drivers’ standings, 13 points behind his teammate Oscar Piastri. After finishing second behind Red Bull rival Max Verstappen in Imola, Norris shared his thoughts:
