Fernando Alonso’s Luxurious Garage Expands with Aston Martin Valiant
Two-time Formula 1 champion, Fernando Alonso, has added another masterpiece to his collection – the bespoke Aston Martin Valiant hypercar, valued at approximately £2 million. This high-performance marvel will join the ranks of his garage, sitting alongside the iconic Valkyrie.
The Rear-Winged Marvel: An Overview of the Aston Martin Valiant
In September last year, Alonso took delivery of the awe-inspiring Valkyrie hypercar, a car born from Formula 1 learnings and created in partnership with Q by Aston Martin. His latest acquisition, the Valiant, follows a similar path, being a completely bespoke vehicle tailored to his preferences.
Described as “a true road-going Formula 1 car,” the Valkyrie boasts an impressive hybrid 6.5-litre V12 powertrain that generates 1,155PS, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60mph in under 2.5 seconds. The personalized version of Alonso’s Valiant sports a satin Aston Martin Racing Green exterior with satin lime pinstriping.
The substantial venturi tunnels feature blue, red, and yellow striping, while the roof is made of exposed carbon fibre. Inside, the red anodized aluminum accelerator pedal bears the number “14,” celebrating Alonso’s racing number.
Commissioned by Alonso himself, the Valiant features a 745 PS 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, an all-carbon fibre body, and a top speed of 202 mph. Only 38 of these cars will be built, making it incredibly exclusive even before the bespoke options are applied.
Aston Martin’s Struggles on the Track
While Alonso’s car collection continues to thrive, Aston Martin is facing challenges where it matters most – on the track. After the first three race weekends of the 2025 season, Alonso is yet to score a championship point due to DNFs in the first two races. The Japanese Grand Prix saw him cross the line, but finishing 11th, he closed his race just out of the points.
Despite these setbacks, the team is focusing its resources on 2026, where new regulations will come into effect. Armed with Adrian Newey, a new wind tunnel, and ample investment and infrastructure, the team hopes to climb the rankings.
