Despite a minor setback during his hot lap – a lock-up into the last corner that cost him pole position – Piastri remains optimistic about his chances this weekend. “We can still fight from there in the Sprint tomorrow, so all in all, I’m pretty happy,” he said.

When asked if he feels he has a shot for a win this weekend, Piastri responded positively, expressing confidence in his team’s ability to unlock more pace and make up a spot during the Sprint race before fighting for the big points.
