Lando Norris Unveils Dazzling Disco Ball Helmet for the Miami Grand Prix
Get ready to groove, as McLaren driver Lando Norris has unveiled a disco ball-inspired helmet that’s turning heads ahead of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix. This eye-catching headgear, reminiscent of the set of Saturday Night Fever, has fans drawing comparisons to pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Limited-Edition Helmet Available for Purchase
The official Lando Norris store is already selling 1:2 scale replicas of this dazzling helmet for £199, crafted by the same team behind his racing helmet. The product description reads: “Celebrate Lando’s breakthrough win in true Miami style with the Disco Ball Helmet. This limited-edition piece captures the energy of his maiden victory with a disco ball inspired custom metallic finish — the perfect display piece for every LN4 fan.
These model helmets, produced by Bell, feature an adjustable visor, chin strap, cushioning on the inside, and HANS clip, just like Lando’s racing helmet.
A Connection with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
Interestingly, Taylor Swift’s connection to the Miami Grand Prix runs deeper than these comparisons. Her partner, NFL star Travis Kelce, is an investor in the Alpine team. Norris took his first win at the 2024 Miami Grand Prix and later met Kelce at a restaurant. In an interview with Radio One’s Greg James, Norris discussed his encounter with the sportsman.
He’s invested in the wrong team, first of all,” he joked. “Yeah… that’s gone well! Each to their own. A lot of people know about Travis now, especially after the Super Bowl and everything.” I met him, I was out at dinner, I had to get some food in me after the race and he was there. One of my friends introduced me to him and he was an awesome guy, he was a legend. He was very sweet and we exchanged numbers and hopefully I can get to a game one day. Or a Taylor Swift concert!
Norris Aims for More Success in Miami
As the 2025 Miami Grand Prix approaches, Norris hopes to continue his success. However, he trails team-mate Oscar Piastri after the Australian won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. With a 10-point deficit in the drivers’ standings, Norris has admitted that he doesn’t want to rely on upgrades to find further performance from his Papaya car.
